The ground falls out beneath you. You're in midair, you're surrounded by swirling clouds, and there's nowhere stable to put your feet. The space between your body and the turbulence around you feels poorly defined as well; where do you end and your surroundings begin? Is there a stable you in the first place?

It's hard to tell in the dark with paper covering the entire floor of the room, but what's beneath it is definitely a strong wire mesh.

[starts tear at the paper then, trying to feel out any changes to the mesh]

Dim red light starts to filter into the room from below. You'll eventually see that in one corner the mesh opens up into a person-sized hole. Within that hole, a ladder leads down.

You make your way down the ladder. Small red lights come on as you descend, and you end up somewhere else...
